Mazuma Credit Union signed a five-year contract in 2015 to sponsor Major League Soccer’s Sporting Kansas City, also helping to construct the Mazuma Mezzanine at the arena.
“Although the value of the deal is undisclosed, it’s surely a large number given that Mazuma is in the midst of some major construction at Sporting Park to create the Mazuma Mezzanine, a hexagonal area that will look like a soccer ball and allow fans to sit down and watch the game while they get a drink or a snack. Mazuma is also running Sporting KC’s affinity card program, a credit card with a rewards program that offers Sporting KC fans everything from team store gift certificates to an all-expenses-paid road trip with the team.”
